RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The “visit to the caves of Polignano” includes a boat rent of 2 hours with skipper. Departure from and arrival to San Vito marina- Polignano a mare. The excursion can be done only if the weather is good. Pugliamare SRL can delete or modify the rent in case of nasty weather, even if the activity has started.
Pugliamare SRL can delete the reservation if there aren’t at least 4 participants.
Our staff will inform you at the beginning or during the session and they will let you know information
about the refund. The check in will be 10 minutes before the departure.
PARTECIPANTS
Can participate in the excursion
– People with good health
– people 17 y.o. only with a companion who has to be responsible for their actions. The companion
must have authorization from the minor’s parents.
– Disabled people have to contact us writing at info@pugliamare.it to value the accessibility at least 3
days before the selected date.
Can’t participate
– People suffering from thalassophobia
– Pregnant women
Are not admitted
– Animals
– bulky objects
Every participant is responsible for his or her actions.
Our staff has not the liability for damages or in case of accident.
CLOTHES
It would be better to wear:
– rubber-soled shoes because the wharf and the ground of the boat could be slippery.
– bathing costume which enable bodily movements.
– hat to shelter from the sun.
Our staff will give a life jacket to the participants. They have to give it back intact at the end of the
excursion.
In case of damage, the customer will be charged the amount for repairs.
We advise you:
– to put on a protective cream
– To take with you a changes of clothes
– For customers who suffer from sea sickness, please bring proper medication
– For customers who wear glasses, it’s recommended to use eyeglasses string

CANCELLATIONS
The activity will be cancelled
– In case of nasty weather, even if the activity has started.
– For situations which could compromise the security of the participants.
– If there aren’t at least 4 participants, skipper excluded.
FREIGHT REBATE
Pugliamare SRL will refund the cost of the ticket in case of:
– Cancellation or interruption of the tour for nasty weather. The ticket will be not refund if the tour
has started over 1 hour.
– Cancellation or interruption of the tour for situation which could compromise the security of the
participants. The ticket will be not refund if the tour has started over 1 hour.
BEHAVIOUR RULES
The excursion of the caves is a group activity. Each participant has to know that every action could
compromise the security of all.
To guarantee the security of all participants is of primary importance to follow some simple indications
during the different stages of the activity:
– Complied with the indications given by the skipper.
– Don’t run and don’t play on the wharf during the boarding and disembarkation.
– Go up and down from the boat following the instructions said by our staff. The wharf and the
ground of the boat could be slippery.
– To draw the attention of the skipper, please raise the hand.
– Please, don’t bump into other participants.
– Please, be carefully, don’t stand up and don’t protrude yourself.
– If something falls down into the water, please ask to the skipper to recover it.
– Smoking on board is not allowed.
Our staff can require the forced departure of the people who has a behaviour offensive or disturb the other
participants.
The boat “B&b Gran turismo” is very stable. The overturning, the crash with another boat or the fall down
into the water are very unlikely. In case of boat knocks over you must:
– Stay always with the group.
– Follow the instruction of the skipper.
